Social Studies

5th Grade Social Studies is so fun! We study the beginning years of American History. This is my favorite subject to teach because we try to place ourselves in the shoes of those we study in history. Our class enjoys reenacting scenes from famous events in history. Studying social studies through multiple lenses and having thought-provoking discussions about ethics and motivations makes teaching worthwhile!
